Cookie and Storage Policy

Storage notice. DealExchange does not use third party advertising cookies in the current configuration. The site uses strictly necessary session cookies for authenticated areas and first party browser storage for public marketplace convenience.

Local storage keys

• dealexchangeStorageNoticeAck: remembers that you dismissed the storage notice. Stored until you clear browser data.
• dealexchangeAnalyticsEvents: anonymous first party event buffer capped at the most recent 100 events. Query strings are redacted to approved public filters, and private token pages are not recorded.
• dealexchangeSavedListings: listing slugs saved in your browser. Stored locally until you clear it.

Session cookies

• dx_admin_session: secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict admin session cookie. Max age: 12 hours.
• dx_broker_session: secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict broker portal session cookie. Max age: 12 hours.

These session cookies are set only after login and are required to operate the admin or broker portal.

Bot protection

Cloudflare Turnstile may set or read security signals when you submit protected forms. It is used to reduce spam and automated abuse.

Advertising cookies and future AdSense

AdSense is disabled. No live AdSense code is present and no fake publisher id is used. If DealExchange later activates AdSense, advertising cookies and similar technologies may be used by Google and its partners on allowed guide pages only after consent handling, this policy and the Privacy Policy are updated and approved.

AdSense must not appear on the homepage hero, listing cards, listing detail pages, enquiry forms, buyer criteria forms, seller intake forms, broker registration, broker workspace, pricing pages, legal pages or protected pages.

Control

You can clear local storage and cookies through your browser settings. If storage is blocked, public browsing should still work, but saved listings and analytics buffering may not.
